Staff Members

Our goal is to serve you. We take great pride in our warm, loving, and helpful staff. Enter a patient, leave a friend.

Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners (ARNP) are independently licensed in Washington state, and are independent contractors with health insurance companies. ARNPs have full prescriptive authority.

Michael Gregory, ARNP

Michael A. Gregory, ARNP, is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with national certification in Family Practice from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, membership in Sigma Theta Tau (the Honor Society of Nursing), and full prescriptive authority in Washington state. A health care provider for more than 30 years, he has trained in family practice, emergency services, urgent care, and intensive care. He completed graduate studies at the University of Florida as a National Health Service Corps scholar, and studied both family health and critical care, graduating with high honors. He has worked as an ARNP in WA since 1992, practicing in Quincy, Wenatchee, and Mount Vernon before opening Village Family Health in Bellingham in 2005. His patients appreciate his expertise, compassion, and sense of humor.

Michael believes in a proactive approach to health and fitness. He encourages patients to make healthy food choices that compliment an active lifestyle, believing that proper diet and exercise are the best "medicine" for us all. He is an avid competitive kayaker and loves paddling on Bellingham Bay.

Lianne Bjornerud, ARNP

Lianne Bjornerud, ARNP, brings an unbridled passion for healthcare to her practice and to the individuals and families of Washington State. While specially trained in family practice, women's health, orthopaedics and trauma, Lianne sees patients of all ages, including mothers-to-be and newborns, and is known by patients and colleagues alike for her compassion, dedicated support, outgoing nature, and sense of humor.

An interest in women's health issues led Lianne to placements overseas in both Nepal and Rwanda, where she was able to expand her knowledge of unique care situations. Lianne also has a keen interest in diabetes management. She believes that diet, exercise and emotional satisfaction are the keys to a healthy, happy life, and takes pride in helping her patients reach their optimal level of health, no matter what their needs.

Lianne is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with national certification in Family Practice from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and full prescriptive authority in Washington State. She has completed both an Honours Master's of Public Health degree and an Honours Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner Post-Master's diploma.
