“Village Family Health cares for patients with a wide variety of health needs. We provide the full range of family health and urgent care services one would receive at any clinic. We treat all kinds of illnesses and injuries, from the flu to stitches to back pain. We also do sports physicals, and handle the usual men’s, women’s, and children’s health concerns,” says Michael Gregory.
Michael Gregory is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) with National Certification in Family Practice from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. A health care provider for 25 years, he has trained in family practice, emergency services, urgent care, and intensive care. ARNPs are independently licensed in Washington state, and are independent contractors with health insurance companies. ARNPs have full prescriptive authority.
Gregory believes in the importance of a healthy balance of work and fun, and endorses a proactive approach to health and fitness. He encourages patients to make healthy diet choices that compliment an active lifestyle, believing that proper diet and exercise are the best “medicine” for all of us at any age.
Michael Gregory completed undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Florida, where he graduated with high honors. As a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) scholar, he studied both Family Health and Critical Care in graduate school. Upon graduation he completed his required NHSC service in the medically underserved area of Quincy, Washington, practicing there for more than eight years in their emergency department, while attending inpatient hospital care and offering family care in the clinic. Following a stint with Wenatchee Valley Clinic, Gregory joined North Cascade Family Physicians in Mount Vernon, Washington, until opening Village Family Health. Gregory is confident that he is well prepared to provide excellent health care to patients visiting Village Family Health.
